IVF: The Male’s Role

Going through the process of IVF or any other Assisted Reproductive Technique (ART) can be a costly and stressful venture for all couples.  Although the process is something that both the male and female must go through, it is clear that the majority of treatment is centered on the female.

However, by treating males before the process of IVF, couples can increase their chances of success.  This is ideally started 3 months prior to the IVF procedure as sperm maturation typically takes up to 90 days.  By using acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and orthomolecular nutrition, the male can experience improved quality and quantity of sperm as well as enhanced quality of semen.   These factors will increase your chances of a successful pregnancy and is a safe and effective complement to any ART.
