This immune related category of male fertility occurs when the males (or females) immune system attacks the sperm cells causing them to have decreased motility or to clump together, making conception very difficult. Past surgery or vasectomy are known causes of this problem but sometimes it will occur for no apparent reason at all. Studies conducted on the treatment of male sperm antibodies with the use of traditional Chinese herbal medicine have shown significant benefits indicating that herbal therapy is the treatment of choice for anti-sperm antibodies (AsAb).
