When you arrive at Drew’s clinic – you will be greeted by Drew!

Drew runs his clinic all on his own so you will often see him sitting at his reception desk when you arrive.  If you arrive and no one is there – don’t worry!  Drew is working with someone else and will be with you shortly.

Please note* if the door is locked, just ring the door bell.  Drew often locks the door to reduce the chance of people walking in while he is with his clients.

If it is your first visit with Drew, you will first go through your initial consultation.  Depending on your concern, this consultation will take between 30-60min – not including your acupuncture treatment.  Most fertility clients will experience a very in-depth consultation and will be with Drew for about 1.5 hours in total (consultation + treatment).

What Will an Acupuncture Treatment Feel Like?

First and foremost, your comfort level is of prime importance to me.

Ask any current client of mine and they will tell you that the needles rarely hurt and that the room, massage table and surroundings are warm, comforting and relaxing.  I made a YouTube video for my students explaining the best ways to ensure a comfortable treatment environment.  If you would like to see a little of what you will expect at my clinic – check out this video.

Bottom line – Acupuncture should be noticeable but not painful.  If your brain does not recognize some sort of stimulus (i.e. a quick pinch, an ache, a muscle twitch etc.) then no benefit is likely to occur.  Communication between practitioner and patient is key.

Always tell your practitioner if a needle remains uncomfortable during the treatment or if it starts to feel worse.
